So there are a few items that I always keep stocked up in my cupboard. These are the ingredients that are so frequently used that I make sure we never run out of them and I end up taking it for granted that they are in my cupboard each week. I thought it would be helpful for me to post my list of stock cupboard essentials as I do not include these in my weekly or monthly shopping lists as I just keep tabs on them all the time and buy them if I need them as soon as they run out.

If you are following my monthly meal plans these are the items you will need in your cupboard:

- Oils - sunflower/olive/vegetable for cooking and extra virgin olive oil for dressings

- Vinegars - balsamic, cider and red wine

- Sea Salt and Black Pepper

- Mustards - I usually keep dijon, wholegrain and English

- Stock cubes

- Worcestershire Sauce

- Marmite (just 'cause I love it!)

- Gravy granules

- Plain flour

- Cornflour

- Honey

- Dried Chillies

- Risotto rice

- Dried pasta

- Tomato puree

- Chopped tomatoes

- Garlic

- Frozen peas

- Mayonaise

- Dried fruits such as apricots, sultanas

- Nuts such as almonds, pecans and cashews

- Butter

- Spices - Cinnamon, cumin seeds and ground, fennel seeds, chilli flakes and powder, fajita seasoning, turmeric, garam masala, ground coriander

I'm sure there are more but these are the main ones, I will add any on to this list if I discover any others! What are your store cupboard essentials? Are there ingredients you simply cannot do without? I'd love to hear what they are :-).
